University of Ulster, BELFAST

KFK have been working away busily during lockdown on a large project in Belfast, the University of Ulster.

We were initially appointed by the Main Contractor (SACYR Somague) directly, to work on Block BD, however our work impressed the main façade contractor (TEF Ltd) sufficiently enough that they have awarded us numerous elements on Block BC also.

This project is very technical and a real challenge with tight timescales and highly detailed air tight and blast proof interfaces to all areas, we have utilised our 3D skills on some elements to allow installers to appreciate how intricate flashings are pieced together on site, and this has proven to be very successful.
